a boutique design firm with a big vision
We believe every home should feel personal and intentional; a reflection of the people who live there. Our role is to bring clarity, creativity, and expertise to the process so that what could feel stressful becomes a guided, collaborative, and even enjoyable experience.
-
Design is not just about making something beautiful — it’s about creating spaces that function effortlessly and tell the story of the people who call them home. We believe the luxury of working with a designer goes far beyond aesthetics: it’s about access to custom, designer-only resources and a process that transforms a vision into reality.
At the heart of our philosophy is collaboration. We see every project as a partnership — your house, shaped by your story, elevated by our design expertise. Trust, inspiration, and clear communication guide the way, so you can step back and enjoy the process while we handle the details.

KELSEY PASMA
principal designer & founder
-
Kelsey’s journey in interior design began in the world of custom cabinetry and flooring, where she discovered a love for materials, finishes, and how they work together to elevate a space. She went on to spend six years in commercial design at a large firm, gaining deep experience and technical skills — but always felt the pull back to more personal, residential work.
In 2020, she launched Studio K Interiors, focusing on new construction, renovation, and design consulting. Since then, Kelsey has built a reputation for bringing warmth, clarity, and creativity to each project by collaborating with homeowners, architects, and builders to bring meaningful design to life.
Kelsey is a wife, a mom of two, and a firm believer in slow mornings and summer weekends at the lake. When she’s not designing, you’ll likely find her golfing with her family or chasing little ones around the backyard.
EMMA KONING
interior designer
-
Emma's spark for design began with her mom’s love of interiors, which inspired an early fascination with how materials and furnishings shape a space. Her path led her through furniture sales and custom kitchen design before expanding into a variety of residential and hospitality projects, giving her a broad foundation and a deep appreciation for different styles of design.
At Studio K, she loves the collaborative nature of the work, finding inspiration alongside Kelsey and continually learning through the creative process. Her role blends curiosity, creativity, and a hands-on approach that brings fresh energy to each project.
Away from design, Emma and her husband, a finish carpenter, are often working on their own home together. When she’s not knee-deep in a project, she loves being with family and friends or enjoying summer days on the lake.
KYLIE HAVERKAMP
interior designer
-
Kylie has been passionate about interior design for as long as she can remember. As a child, she spent her free time sketching floor plans and imagining beautiful homes. This passion eventually led her to earn a degree in interior design and build more than a decade of experience in the industry.
What drew Kylie to Studio K was its client-first approach: creating homes that feel personal, timeless, and uniquely reflective of the families who live in them. She loves helping bring those visions to life, especially during installation when months of thoughtful planning transform into a finished home.
While Kylie enjoys every stage of the design process, kitchens hold a special place in her heart. As the heart of the home, she believes kitchens set the tone for the spaces where families gather, connect, and create memories.
Outside the studio, Kylie loves spending time with her husband, Jared, and their two daughters, Ivory and Willow, along with their chocolate lab, Winston. You'll often find her trying a new recipe, reading a good book, browsing local shops, or enjoying a slow Saturday filled with breakfast, a long walk, and time by the water whenever she can.
SAMANTHA VANHUIZEN
interior design intern
-
Samantha has loved interior design for as long as she can remember. She's always been drawn to both the creative and technical sides of the profession, with a passion for designing spaces tailored to the people who call them home.
Samantha is currently pursuing her Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design at Kendall College of Art and Design.
She was excited to join Studio K because of its close-knit team and shared commitment to creating timeless, functional spaces that feel personal to every client. As an intern, Samantha enjoys learning from each project while contributing to the thoughtful design process that defines Studio K.
Outside the studio, Samantha enjoys spending time with family and friends, taking long walks, relaxing at the beach or the lake up north, and trying new recipes in the kitchen.
